StayCozy Studio Apartments in Acton

Facilidade do check-in

The Rooms and Location was execllent. I really liked the cleanliness and the room fecilities.

Service I cannot comment, as this is a short stay studio appartment and there is no daily cleaning or fresh linen services.

The room has a great view and is more spacious than a typical city-centre hotel room. The building concierge staff are friendly and helpful, although they are not part of the hosting team and therefore cannot assist with room-related inquiries or requests. The building also offers good amenities, including a gym, lounge, and laundry facilities. In addition, it is just a few minutes' walk from North Acton Station, with two supermarkets nearby.

I stayed for five weeks. Although the room appeared clean at first glance, perhaps because the building is relatively new, I found that many areas had not been properly cleaned before my arrival. The kitchen utensils on the counter were covered in dust, the frying pan was rusty, and the refrigerator, kettle, oven had not been cleaned. The upper shelves were also dusty. In addition, a plastic food container had been left in the kitchen bin, and there was rubbish under the toilet. For longer stays, basic cleaning supplies such as a vacuum cleaner, or at least a floor brush and cleaning products, should be provided, especially if guests are expected to maintain the room themselves. When I raised concerns about the cleanliness, the host appeared to regard it as a third-party issue and requested photo evidence rather than taking ownership of the problem. It felt as though the host was acting mainly as an intermediary between the property and the guest. Given that a cleaning fee is charged, I would expect both a higher standard of cleanliness before check-in and appropriate cleaning tools for guests staying for several weeks.
