Maison PAYAPA PORT BARTON

It was very clean and spacious room with your own little pool. Quiet area and very friendly and helpful staff always ready to help you with whatever you need. The location was slightly outside of the main town area but was nice because it was more quiet and peaceful.

Comfortable bed. Friendly welcome with excellent communication before and throughout our stay.

We specifically booked this accommodation because it advertised a swimming pool; however, the private plunge pool available with our room was not suitable for use as the heavy rain made it difficult to keep clean. No running water or electricity from 06:00-12:00 in the mornings made it a very uncomfortable stay. There is a generator that you can request they switch on; but, this only operates the water pump and shower, so no power to the air conditioning unit, fridge, nor the kettle. The water from the taps and shower is discoloured and smells. The property next door seemed to be doing repairs or construction and playing loud music, so it was noisy during the day. Access road to the property is unpaved and gets very muddy and slippery in the rain.
