Osterley Place - Apt F

The location of the property is excellent. It is convenient to go to Central London and to Windsor Castle. However, the airport is nearby and it could be very noisy. The accommodation is very modern and equipped with everything. Ceilings are very high and the rooms feel extremely spacious. It is clean and the sofas are very soft. Very pleased with overall appearance.

The beds are both small doubles and not big enough for 2 adult to share 1 bed. Both beds are hard and cause back pain. The blinds in the bedroom were misplaced and no privacy could be achieved, so the lights should be off and all changing needed to be done in the bathroom. Last night of our stay next door flat was occupied and people there were rather noisy speaking loud at 24:00. On the day of our departure there were people smoking just in front of the flat door and the whole ground floor smelled of cigarettes. Very unpleasant.

The property as a whole is lovely and modern. I would stay again, it’s actually my dream home, I’d live here!

Mobile phone network connection was very poor for me (EE) and the WiFi very intermittent. I spoke to host who seemed to have fixed the issue as I couldn’t use my phone at all for the first two day without going outside, but it started to work the morning following my phone call. Although still very slow. The mattress was too soft for me (but I do have a medium/firm mattress at home because of my back), they seem old as do the divans. Considering a good amount of work has gone into making this a lovely rental, it would benefit from new beds and bedding. Also couldn’t use the smart apps on the TV. Netflix was locked and we couldn’t log the previous person out and YouTube wouldn’t even start up. Because of the WiFi issue we had no tv for the first couple days.
