Shower had issues during first night but fixed right away. Challenge for loading and unloading during busy times as it is located on a very active narrow street. WiFi works and front desk attentive. Availed of paid late checkout so we can refresh before going to airport.

We stayed in standard twin room for five nights. We had a pleasant stay at Marlo Hotel. The location is excellent, right in the city centre, making it very convenient for sightseeing, shopping and exploring Kathmandu. There was some noise at night due to the active nightlife in the surrounding area. However, this is understandable given the hotel's central location and is largely beyond the hotel's control. The staff were friendly and helpful. They also assisted us in arranging taxi services for sightseeing around Kathmandu, which we appreciated. One area that could be improved is the response to guest requests or complaints. On a few occasions, I had to contact reception two or three times before the issue was fully addressed. Cleanliness was good, and the hotel offered reasonable value for money. Breakfast and restaurant food were average. A wider variety of breakfast options and some improvement in food quality would make the experience better. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. The convenient location, cleanliness and reasonable pricing made it a good choice. Overall rating: 4/5
