Broadwater Cottage holiday home on Norfolk coast

Really dog and family friendly, with the ability to zone the house and a great garden. Very well equipped and close to the beach and a destination pub and bakery- fabulous croissants!

Perhaps a bit more dusting around the stair rails in particular and a small amount of black mould behind the shower door. We couldn’t get the shower over the bath to work. But none of this affected our stay.

Lovely cottage, very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped throughout. Super garden fully enclosed and safe for dogs and families with children. Bedrooms all of a good size with a very good bathroom, the outside room has the added bonus of having an excellent large shower. The cottage is situated in a very peaceful village and enjoys a good position opposite the pub and bakery. The fabulous Holme beach is very close by and during our stay was almost unoccupied which allowed for the free running of dogs. All in all we had a very relaxing stress free short break. The owner Jayne is a super, very friendly and responsive host.

Absolutely excellent holiday from start to finish- Such a beautiful area that has a special place in my heart. Gorgeous beach within an easy 15 mins walk, lovely large house and very kind and accommodating hosts! We would love to return.10/10.

There was a leak in the upstairs bathroom sink so we couldn't use the sink After using the upstairs toilet and flushing it overflowed onto the bathroom floor and we didn't use it again The sitting room had a very very strong odour of smelly dog and it was difficult to even sit on the furniture despite spraying it multiple times. I think an upholstery and carpet wash is very much due. It did disrupt our stay as we kept avoiding relaxing there. Also so all are aware the ground floor space is one open plan room which contains the kitchen a dining space and the lounge space, I would say the mops etc in the outside utility den are well past their wear date and we were unable to use these as they looked more dirty than the spaces we wanted to mop. Felt overpriced for what we got
