Apartment Galija, Punat historical center

The hosts offer two apartments in the alleys above the harbor promenade; ours was the one on the first floor. It’s about a 400-meter walk from the harbor restaurants, and there are also bakeries and a store nearby. The apartment is tiny, but nice and equipped. It has AC, and there were only a few mosquitos in the evening that got inside - we didn’t even have to buy an electric mosquito repellent. There was some fruit as a welcome prepared for us, and we found salt, pepper and olive oil in the kitchen cabinet. From the apartment in Galija street, you can walk to the stations of the cross on the nearby hill and continue further for a hike or bike ride. It is about 750 metres to the city beach. But we recommend to walk past the camp area to the beach near the St. Nicola chapel. It has a nice view and generally is better (unless you want to walk even further to the pebbles beaches - those we do not like so much :D ).

The kitchen area is really tiny, and you have to be careful when opening the kitchen window, because you might knock over cups and glasses by the sink. We had to buy plastic bags for the trash bins, but I guess this is the way it is done here. Also we were told by the agent that the owner would pick us up at the bus station but I guess this was a misunderstanding because she was waiting in the apartment.

Location was very good, walking distance to a lot of places
