Mark met us personally to let us in, showed us around and how to operate the facilities, answered all our questions, was genuine and kind, took pride in his home and customer service, and had additional items stocked in case we forgot any (laundry soap, toothbrush, etc). It’s quiet, feels safe, and there’s a waterfall we can see from the deck :)
The road in was a bit rustic and bumpy - we weren’t sure if we made a wrong turn or not. A simple map prior to arrival from the main road to the home would be helpful, especially if arriving after sunset. Also travelers staying here to visit Yosemite should know it’s about 20min drive to the south Yosemite gate and another 40-60min from there to Yosemite valley. But, the home is close to oakhurst with some great restaurants and amenities.

Een verrassend luxe huisje, geweldig gelegen met een enorm terras, met ruim uitzicht op de bergen en waterval. Veel privacy, want vrij gelegen op een groot grondstuk. Cindy en Mark waren heel gastvrij en hebben aan van alles gedacht om het verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Bijv. een gevulde koelkast en allerlei kookartikelen. Een half uur rijden vanaf de South Entrance van Yosemite NP. Een verademing t.o.v. de drukte daar!
