Rectory Hideaway

The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, it is bigger then expected and the bathroom facilities were exceptional. The bed was more comfortable then our own bed at home. This hut is completely hidden out the way in the trees and having a coffee and breakfast in the morning with the sound of the birds was just wonderful. We stayed 3 nights but with of happily stayed longer. Wonderful attention to detail and the info they provide on where to go for the local food places was brilliant. We love nature and this is off grid and in the heart of nature. It even stormed and rained when we were there and even listeningto the rain in the hut was great. Really wonderful stay and we will be back The Ship pub is a great place to eat and have a lovely drink outside with the view of the river and swing bridge. Literally only about 15 mins walk We went to the Post Office Tea room for breakfast. This is a very cute Tea Room and highly recommended Reedham is a wonderful village and highly recommend a visit here

Absolutely nothing, loved our visit and accommodation

Location was lovely and quiet. No one disturbed us😊 There was a bbq we could of used but did not know about so would of been lovely to of used that. Had two outside lights on the outside of the hut so could still sit outside until very late. You’re right near the railway,so can see the train passing .😊 Alittle pot of marmalade & raspberry jam was left fir us aswell as tea,coffee and sachets of milk. Towels to use. Will definitely return..we loved it and the village is beautiful.

The amount of midgies in the hut but thats to be expected with windows and doors open so could do with an insect mesh up at the door to help with that. And slightly later check out of 11am would of been a bonus like other shepherds huts we have stayed at. But apart from that everything was perfect!😊

We enjoyed the piece and quiet and was able to watch and sit amongst wildlife. The accommodation was adequate.

The rough terrain getting to the accommodation. The outside area needs decking as the dog was bring all the wood shavings into the hut so was having to sweep up everyday . There was no mirror in the property. The electric hob did not work, so we used the microwave, so cooking was a little challenging but we managed.
