Bright waterfront condo in a gated resort with pools, tennis courts, & gym

We stayed 3 nights at the Hidden Dunes of Panama. We enjoyed our stay and loved being waterfront. The pool, parking, and restaurant were all great additions to our stay.

Dunes of Panama amenities were nice and the view was amazing. The condo itself wasn't the best. Master bed was the hardest bed that I have ever slept in. We actually cut our trip short by 1 day and came back early because I couldn't bare to try to sleep in that bed again. Master bath tub wouldn't drain properly. Kitchen has basic supplies for a week long stay.

Amazing stay!!

Checking in was fine. Elevators were quick but dirty (blood on walls). Door code worked without issue, but as soon as we walked in, I felt like I'd been had. This room is extremely dated and in disrepair. Closet doors (bi-fold) wouldn't close completely, hole in the main bathroom wall (along with something drippy that wasn't washed off), washer had black mildew/mold in it (we didn't attempt to use), dryer was overloaded with lint and dirty (I used wet paper towels to wash it out as best as I could so we could at least dry our swimsuits), there was no bedding for the trundle pullout twin bed and the mattress cover had stuff on it (so we had to use the pullout couch), there were random hairs left behind (inside drawers, on the edge of the tub), the main bathroom's shower curtain wasn't clean (built up soap scum), all doors and handles were very grimy like they haven't been washed in a very long time. It made me not want to touch or sit anywhere. Now moving on to issues not related to cleanliness. The beds were very uncomfortable and made a lot of noise when turning over, the kitchen was very poorly stocked (not enough silverware or glasses). The positives were the beach and no lines for elevators. Overall, we had a good vacation and a lot of fun and loved all the food, but we won't be staying here again.NOTE: it won't allow me to upload photos of things described above.
