Welcome to Nordhaven, a thoughtfully designed retreat where modern comfort meets effortless island living. Perfect for families, couples traveling together, and multi-generational getaways, this spacious Eastsound home offers the ideal blend of connection, relaxation, and adventure — with room to gather while still providing plenty of privacy.
The bright, open-concept living area is the heart of the home, featuring radiant heated floors, a cozy gas fireplace, and expansive windows that fill the space with natural light. The fully equipped chef’s kitchen offers stainless steel appliances, a gas range, and everything needed to prepare memorable meals after a day exploring Orcas Island.
Two private ensuite bedrooms provide peaceful retreats for couples, while the versatile bonus room is designed with families in mind. Complete with a large-screen TV, Xbox gaming system, and Amazon Luna access, this space is perfect for movie nights, rainy-day entertainment, or giving kids and teens their own place to unwind. The room also easily transforms into additional sleeping accommodations with a Murphy bed and pull-down bed, making it a flexible option for extra guests.
Outside, Nordhaven invites you to fully embrace island living. Relax beneath the stars in the private hot tub, gather around the firepit for s’mores and stories, grill dinner on the BBQ, or enjoy a quiet morning coffee in the outdoor dining area. Guests can also enjoy kayaks, beach gear, a large fenced backyard for play, and a peaceful shaded front yard perfect for reading or relaxing.
One of Nordhaven’s most special features is its access to the private amenities of the Bartwood Estates community. Just a short stroll from the home, guests can enjoy the private community beach, pickleball courts, and the newly available community dock — perfect for soaking in the waterfront views, watching boats pass by, enjoying a peaceful sunset, or launching into a day of island adventures. The private dock offers a beautiful way to experience the shoreline and connect with the natural beauty that makes Orcas Island so unforgettable. Before using the dock or pier, guests must review and electronically sign the separate Bartwood Estates Private Community Dock & Mooring Use Agreement. Dock access codes are provided after the agreement has been signed.
For guests arriving by boat, overnight moorage may be available at the community dock for an additional fee through the dock’s posted Venmo payment instructions. Dock access details and guidelines will be provided in your guest information prior to arrival.

The outdoor setup is enviable: a covered hot tub, grill-ready patio, and a stocked fire pit, with beach access and pickleball a short walk down the road.Inside, a calming palette and plush textiles echo the island’s serenity. The fluid layout features multiple common areas equipped with smart TVs and seating for 8. For the culinary-minded, the chef's kitchen is a delight, outfitted with high-end appliances and premium cookware. Crucially, the floor plan prioritizes retreat-style privacy, gifting both bedrooms with pristine en-suite bathrooms including a cold plunge. Complete with a cavernous garage, this property marries easy living with sophisticated comfort. A flawless Pacific Northwest stay.

Nordhaven was more than we could hope for for a relaxing, comfortable and fun stay. Our family of four had room the spread and lounge, cook yummy meals together, watch family movies, take walks to the sweet little beach and see sea lions, porpoises and a bald eagle, and even a longish walk into town. It was the perfect jumping off point for all the adventures that Orcas Island has to offer. The hot tub heater stopped working but the manager sent someone out within 10 minutes of my text and all was well again! Thank you for the beautifully cozy beds and property! We hope to return someday!
