Ten minutes from the house is Slussens Pensionat, a unique place where most Swedish artists play in the summer and well into the autumn.
A half-hour drive to the ferry that goes out to Gullholmen and Käringön where there are unique nature reserves and walkways near the sea and many restaurants.
Then the whole of Bohuslän, with Smögen, Fjällbacka all the way up to Strömstad.
From Fjällbacka, a ferry goes out to the Väderöarna which are the westernmost islands in Sweden.
