The facade of the building is not in its prime and is overdue for a facelift. Do not let the buildings appearance deter you, the area is safe. Although the building itself is not modern, don't be discouraged. Bahia is surrounded by a security gate and located next to a police station. We also have an on site security guard at night.
The building is in a gated community and there is free parking inside the gated area. You will need the provided key fob to get in and out of the gated building. The building is secure and locked at all times. You cannot gain access to the building without the provided key fabs.
The unit is family friendly and many local families live in the building. The location is in a central area for nightlife. Right outside the unit is the infamous Cerra Street with plenty of restaurants, bars, rooftops, boutiques, and more. This area fills up with locals and tourist alike especially on the weekends and at night. There are soundproof windows in the bedrooms due to the high noise level and music of the local culture, but as with any city location some noise is inevitable.
