About this house rental
The flat is quiet, on the ground floor, with access to and overlooking the communal courtyard, so it is sheltered from street noise. You can request a double bed or two separate beds. Breakfast is not provided, but there are bars in the area that can satisfy every need.
Monteverde is a residential neighbourhood, well served and safe even at night. It is close to and well connected with Trastevere (10 minutes by tram) and the historic centre (Piazza Venezia is 16 minutes by tram), the historic market of Porta Portese, Villa Pamphilj, and the Gianicolo. The flat is located near a former consular road, and several archaeological sites with Roman tombs are a 10-minute walk away.
Also nearby is the local market in Piazza S.Giovanni di Dio (an inexpensive market that still retains an authentic atmosphere), while two bus or tram stops away is Trastevere station, which has direct trains to Fiumicino airport and Termini station. There are supermarkets, pharmacies and shops of all kinds in the area, as well as a hospital, all kinds of restaurants (pizzerias, Roman cuisine, seafood, African, Mediterranean, etc., with different price ranges) and the beautiful Villa Panphili park.
