I had booked the suite for my fiancé, our 18m old son and myself, prior to the 2/10 and 8/10 reviews, but saw them posted before staying. After staying there, I really couldn't tell you they they gave those reviews. Ms. Joy was super friendly and communicated amazingly, even and a how-to guide printed with pictures for everything. The place was cozy, inviting, and clean. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance, dish, and seasoning to cook with how ever you wanted and a full size fridge/freezer. Its located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood just 8mins from down town and 10min from the shopping area on exit 10. There was a hot tub that we sadly didn't have time for. Price was amazing for a conjoined 2 bed 2 bath with full kitchen, and had a door to separate the sleeping areas so we could put our son to sleep while still being awake ourselves. We were visiting to see family and if available next time, will definitely be staying with her again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Joy’s guest house. Everything was as pictured. She has two very friendly dogs that she offered to keep inside during our stay for our privacy but we didn’t mind sharing the backyard with them. Our grandkids loved playing with them. The riverwalk bike trail is a must to do while you’re there. There’s also a bike trail by the house that was peaceful and relaxing that goes right over the interstate.

We were down a second weekend for the Columbus cup kayak championships. We chose to stay here with Joy again and it was a joy staying with Joy. I have the hot tub after a hard day of paddling. Nice cool comfortable rooms. Clean kitchen with everything you need. What a great place to stay perfect home centrally located no more than nine minutes to all the kayak adventures and up town fun of Columbus.

Coming down here and paddling for the kayaking team. This home is perfectly placed eight minutes to ambush. Eight minutes to the barbecue joint that they do all these ceremonies and awards that. Three minutes to a grocery store three minutes to a gas station. Joy is a treat. She is a great host. She left us power bars, breakfast bars, bananas, and six pack of beer in the refrigerator for Brad and I coming down to compete. This is the most gracious host you will find in Columbus.
