Welcome to Apartment Alte Bäckerei – Apartment 2 – a lovingly furnished home in the heart of Zwenkau. Here, the charm of a Saxon small town, modern comfort, and proximity to the Leipzig Neuseenland come together.
The accommodation is located at Pegauer Straße 26, quiet but central. Supermarkets, bakeries and small shops are just a few minutes' walk away, as are cosy restaurants and cafés. Fresh rolls are provided by the popular Hennig Bakery just around the corner.
The big highlight is the proximity to Zwenkau Lake – just about 2 km away! At the KAP Zwenkau harbour, you will find a lovely promenade, the excursion boat Santa Barbara, boat hire and restaurants such as Noah’s with a lake view. Nature lovers enjoy walks in the adjacent Eichholz forest or refresh themselves in the Zwenkau forest bath. The Belantis leisure park is reachable in about 10–15 minutes by car.
Via the B2 or B186 you can reach Leipzig city centre in about 25 minutes. Bus lines 100 and 107 regularly connect Zwenkau with Leipzig as well as the train stations in Böhlen and Gaschwitz. The neighbouring towns of Pegau and Groitzsch are also close by.
