## Emplacement
The 16th arrondissement of Paris is located on the Right Bank of the Seine, in the west of the city. It is bordered to the east by the Seine and to the west by the Paris ring road (Périphérique), with the exception of the Bois de Boulogne, which lies on the other side of the ring road. The arrondissement is primarily residential, but it is nonetheless visited by tourists for its numerous museums and notable landmarks such as the Trocadéro and the Bois de Boulogne. It houses the largest number of embassies and consulates in Paris, as well as world-renowned sporting venues like the Parc des Princes and the Roland-Garros stadium. Including the hundreds of hectares of the Bois de Boulogne, the 16th arrondissement is the greenest in the capital.
