About this house rental

My place is beautifully renovated 3 bedroom + study 1.5 bathroom family getaway in Sunshine North. Designed for those who don’t put their lives on hold, we have two study areas, an open plan area to chill, a gorgeous Hamptons style kitchen, a fabulous secure garden to play and enjoy relaxed meals, and a sense of privacy that’s needed when you travel together. Light and bright with loads of afternoon sun, this idyllic surprise comes with off street parking. Near Victoria University.

We designed our hideaway with the latest in fixtures and finishes to ensure you have a memorable stay. From the white washed Oak look floors to the brass door handles and tapware, you’ll love how we have kept the original retro glass sliding door to tie it all together. The bedrooms are carpeted with double blinds for quiet enjoyment, with 2 bedrooms featuring queen size beds, and one bedroom with 2 single beds. The study, has a single sofa bed for that added extra. Our Hamptons style kitchen is fully appointed and has these gorgeous travertine look Japanese finger mosaic tiles as the splashback and is highlighted with electric hotplate, child lock on the underbench oven, a coffee pod machine and a slim line integrated dishwasher. The air conditioned open plan area has a double sofa, two arm chairs, some occasional tables and a 40inch Hisense smart TV. The bathroom is divine with its frameless glass shower, toilet and luxe vanity, with the bonus of a separate second toilet. A European laundry offers a combo washer/dryer and all you laundry essentials. The west facing courtyard garden gives the kids or a dog a place to run around and play in a secure setting featuring an 8 seater outdoor dining setting, established trees to give you shade with mulch, mod grass and pebbles giving it a stylish aesthetic. Parking is available in front of the front door.

Guests have access to the whole villa unit, except for the garage. The driveway is shared between other unit owners/residents so please be courteous when parking your car. If you have two or more cars, please park in the street. The property is operated via digital keyless entry locks which operate on check in/check out times.

Sunshine North is the west’s best kept secret with access to fabulous parks, the Maribyrnong River, universities, shopping precincts and great food to enjoy. Duke Street Reserve is over the road with walking and cycling trails along the river.

If you’re here on business, there’s the Duke Street Business Park a short walk away, Braybrook College, Harvester Technical College, Sunshine College, Caroline Chisholm College, Victoria University and the municipality offices close by.

For shoppers, you’ll be spoilt for choice with Highpoint Shopping Centre the main event, plus the more subdued Sunshine Plaza, Sunshine Marketplace Shopping Centre, City West Plaza and the Maribyrnong Homemaker Centre.

Take Ballarat Road and you’ll find Flemington Racecourse – the home of the Melbourne Cup with nearby Royal Melbourne Showgrounds for a whole list of events.

Discover the cafes, restaurants and lookouts along the Maribyrnong River, Campground Kitchen and Bar in Braybrook, Mr Brooks Stonegrill and Bar and Dai Nam restaurant for some amazing Vietnamese. The Usual Joint in Furlong Road has great coffee.

There are two major hospitals nearby – The Sunshine Hospital with the Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital, as well as Footscray Hospital/Western Health.

Sunshine North is in the west, 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD. Catch the Sunbury line into the city giving you access to St Kilda Road via the Metro Tunnel.
