About this apartment rental
Stay in a one-of-a-kind 2-bedroom lower-level (basement) unit in a 100-year-old historic building. If you appreciate character, history, and something a little different from a standard modern apartment, this space may be a great fit for you.
This building was originally a bank in the early 1900s, and you’ll still see touches of its past throughout the space. There is even an original bank vault located inside the unit (please note: the vault door remains locked for insurance purposes and is not accessible).
One of the bedrooms, which we call “The Tunnel,” was historically a connection passage between two buildings. Because of its unique design and layout, it has a cozy, enclosed feel that reflects the building’s history.

As a basement unit in a century-old building, the space has character and charm, but it may differ from newer constructions in layout, ceiling height, or natural light.
We take pride in cleaning and preparing the unit thoroughly before every stay. However, this is a multi-tenant historic building, and while we maintain our unit carefully, common areas and other tenants are outside of our control. If you are seeking a luxury hotel-style environment or a brand-new building, this may not be the right fit.
One dedicated parking space is included with your stay.

Clean, spacious condo conveniently located to day trip around Massachusetts. It’s nice that the beach is walking distance from the condo as we enjoyed a morning walk along the beach. We would happily stay here again.

Check in process was quick and easy. Mr friends and I loved the property. I’m honestly surprised on how nice the property was based off how much we paid. 10/10 would come back here again!

Interesting space with great kitchen setup, roomy, private, and reasonably convenient, and host was responsive immediately when there were problems at check-in (broken lock box and open front door upon arrival). However: the floor was very much not clean (as in, our socks were dirty after ten minutes inside without shoes), the thermostat did not work, and there is a pet door to an outside hallway that cannot be shut/locked. (There's also a lot of noise from the facility upstairs during the day, but this wasn't an issue after business hours.) Overall it was broadly fine, but would not choose this spot again.
