About this cabin rental

Welcome to Golden Pond. Yes, the literal location that filmed the Academy Award Winning Film from 1981. Our home has a few unique features for Squam: There is a shorefront with a sandy beach to wade your way into the waters, or dive off a wooden crib-dock where the post office used to send mail out to the islands. Just a short walk up the dirt road to two fabulous restaurants or general store for fresh baked treats/ needs. To cap it off, your shoreline faces perfectly due West for sunset.
