Welcome to Cowboy Cabin — your rustic escape in the Texas countryside. Nestled in Somerville, this cozy retreat offers a peaceful, down-to-earth setting with all the comforts you need for a relaxing getaway, whether you're here to unplug, explore the lake, or enjoy a quiet weekend under the stars.
The well-stocked kitchen includes:
→ Modern appliances including full-size refrigerator, oven, and stove top. Please note that there is no dishwasher.
→ Coffee enthusiasts will love the Keurig and regular coffee maker options
→ Blender, toaster, slow cooker and essential kitchen utensils for all your cooking needs
→ Wine glasses and a wine opener for an evening of relaxation
Sleeping arrangements:
→ Bedroom #1 (Ground floor): King-size bed —no stairs required
→ Bedroom #2 (Second/Loft floor): King-size bed, open space
→ Additional sleeping: One pull out couch in the living area for extra guests

Located just minutes from Somerville State Park, Birch Creek Unit, this home offers the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Whether you’re hosting a family BBQ with the charcoal grill or unwinding in the hammock, this home has everything you need for the ultimate country getaway.

Entire space in the main house plus building amenities are included in this rental with the exception of 1 owner's closet. Please, make yourself at home.

Our level of interaction is up to you! We are not available to meet in person but are only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival.

- Please bring your own charcoal for the grill.
- The home is located in the Texas countryside, while we maintain regular pest control, bugs and critters are part of the natural setting.

Home was clean and had every thing you could imagine, even cooking spices! Good air conditioning and ceiling fans.Host was very friendly and extremely quick to reply when I reached out. Home is cute as a button! Kids (teens) really loved the tree swing/hammock chairs.

This cabin was perfect. It is quiet, spacious and secluded. I have severe allergies to animals and wood, but did not need any medication by the second day because it is so clean. It has all the comforts of home with the peace and serenity of the country, plus it is 5 minutes from Somerville park and lake.
