About this apartment rental
At Haus am Schaumberg, a spacious, fully furnished vacation apartment with free Wi-Fi and a parking space awaits you. From the balcony, you can enjoy a wonderful view of Theley and the Saarland’s local mountain, the Schaumberg. A terrace with a parasol and patio furniture is also at your disposal.
The 90-square-meter apartment features 2 bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with a pantry, a cozy living-dining room with satellite TV, a bathroom with a toilet, shower, and bathtub, and an additional guest restroom. A washing machine and dryer are available upon request.
Children are always welcome here. For our very young guests, we provide a crib and a high chair. For slightly older children, bed rails can be installed. Indoor toys and books are also provided.
You can do your shopping at Edeka, Aldi, Lidl, and DM, all of which are just a few minutes’ drive away. Additionally, there is a 24-hour supermarket in Theley. A pharmacy, three doctors’ offices, and one dentist’s office for emergencies are also just a few minutes away.
To help you enjoy your vacation and relax completely, the Saarland offers plenty of activities for every taste, interest, and weather condition. Beautifully maintained hiking and biking trails are waiting to be discovered. Lake Bostal, with its water playground, swimming area, boat rentals, surfing center, and children’s playground, is a worthwhile destination not only for families with children. It’s just a 10-minute drive from your vacation rental.
Nature lovers will feel right at home in the Hunsrück-Saar-Hochwald Nature Park or exploring the treetop trail and the wolf park at the Saar Loop. For culture lovers, the Völklinger Hütte World Heritage Site, a visit to the theater in Saarbrücken, or a guided tour of one of Germany’s oldest abbeys—featuring the beautiful windows designed by the renowned artist Gerhard Richter—are highly recommended. Those who enjoy delving into history can visit the Roman-era excavations in Tholey, the Celtic village and the Hunnenring in Otzenhausen, or Trier with its Porta Nigra.
On rainy days, children can let off steam at Bosiland, an indoor playground on Lake Bostal, or at Trampolini. Numerous museums also attract visitors with their diverse offerings.
