About this cottage rental
Original artwork created by the owner and local artists adorns the walls and the collection changes with the seasons, reflecting the shifting Welsh light and landscape.
The cottage features two inviting living rooms: one contemporary and one more traditional, perfect for curling up with a book or sharing a glass of wine. There are two generous double bedrooms, a lovely dining room, and a well-equipped kitchen. You'll also find two bathrooms — one with a bath and shower, and a separate cloakroom.
Outside, a quirky, completely private raised terrace garden offers a peaceful spot to sit and unwind. In summer, the cottage is filled with sunshine; in winter, it becomes especially cosy.
Steeped in history, the cottage may even have witnessed the Last Invasion of Britain in 1797, when French forces landed at nearby Lower Fishguard Harbour (they didn't win — but the stories remain!). Today, Wallis Cottage offers a cosy, beautifully appointed base for exploring Pembrokeshire's stunning coastline, with the Marine Walk along the Irish Sea just a five-minute stroll from the front door. From here, you can explore the Pembrokeshire Coast Path toward St Davids or even take a day trip to Ireland from Fishguard Harbour.
Please note that children under the age of 11 are not allowed to stay at the property.
