From Arezzo you can take the fast train from Rome in just 1 hour and 5 minutes, so even day trips are possible. In Casalino there is a small grocery shop, where you can get snacks and an internet connection.

During the renovation of the villa in 2003, the wall decorations, wood-beamed ceilings and terracotta floors were restored to their former glory (some of which are still the original floor). The villa is partially furnished with antique furniture.
