Pine Island will feel like a different world. It's so unbelievably laid back filled with palm tree nurseries, farms and nature. We boat or take the ferry over to secluded island barrier beaches which is the quickest. You can take a car to some of them like Sanibel, Fort Myers Beach, Captiva etc...which would be about an hour plus of a drive. We do have a very small beach on the island as well.
