About this house rental
Relax with the whole family at this lovely and peaceful beachfront home located on the scenic Broadkill Beach in Delaware. Park underneath the shaded car ports and additional parking on the side, for a total of four cars. Feel free to use the EV charger provided for free for guests during your entire stay!
Then walkup to the new wrap-around Trex deck that was just added in 2026 with panoramic views of the ocean with another set of stairs leading directly to the beach walkway path. Head inside to the dining and living rooms with views of the ocean and a full kitchen.
The house has four spacious bedrooms, including three queen beds, one king bed, and a two cozy bunk beds, comfortably sleeping 12. There is a half bath on the main floor and a full bath tucked away inside the master bedroom. A laundry room with full washer and dryer is located upstairs, next to a large, two sink bathroom. Two bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, face directly to the beach. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed as well as two sets of twin bunk beds. Enjoy a pleasant atmosphere with heating and air conditioning throughout the house provided by quiet and yet efficient mini-split AC/heat pumps downstairs and a central duct system upstairs.
Lounge in the recently renovated sunroom with new windows and flooring, providing sweeping views of the ocean. Then just walk right outside to the deck and down the steps to the beach. There is also an outdoor shower with hot water for those who just want to rinse off or freshen up quickly.
Primehook National Wildlife Refuge is a 5 min drive to check out nature trails and osprey nests surrounded by trees and water, and a 15 -20 min drive leads to Lewes Beach, Cape Henlopen Park, and Rehoboth Beach boardwalk, for more beach, nature scenery, Ferry ride to Cape May, restaurants and nightlife fun!
Please note that the rentals are weekly from Sat-Sat at the end of June, in July and beginning of August, but requests for shorter stays maybe approved on a case by case basis.
Also, as is customary in Broadkill Beach, linens and towels are not provided. Feel free to bring your own linens or call Sheets at the Beach at 302-362-0876 ahead of time to arrange for linen service for a reasonable cost.

This rental was great for our 2 families (2 kids each family) and a grandparent. The beach was steps away and it was located in the bay which made it calmer waters for the kids. House was clean, kitchen has the basics for cookware. Sitting in the living room and beds could have been more comfortable but besides that the house was plenty of space for us. And the convince of the beach is exactly what we needed with little kids. The beach was not crowded and wr necer had people right next to us. We loved being out on the deck and watching the ships and bird in the bay.

We totally lucked out by snagging this house last minute! Fantastic house and perfect for our 2 families, everyone had plenty of space, my daughter (the only girl) even had her own room. And you cannot beat the location beachfront! Perfect! This beach is a hidden gem! We brought bug spray so were prepared for the flies, which were almost non existent. Didn't realize it was the home of the horseshoe crab but the kids loved it! And probably the least crowded beach I've ever visited. Communication was amazing! Unfortunately had the storm door partially blow off our first night due to high winds, but George and Eileen were on it and so helpful! New door on before the end of the next day! House is really fantastic and on a fantastic beach! Only 6 hours from where I live and have already discussed coming back! This is a keeper!
