Among all of Lisbon's neighborhoods, Alfama stands out as the most enchanting. This district is not only the city's oldest but also a labyrinth of narrow streets and winding alleys steeped in history, offering a delightful experience with breathtaking views from Lisbon's highest hilltops.

Partially spared from the destruction caused by the 1755 earthquake, Alfama was once the Moorish quarter of the city. Today, it exudes a captivating charm, retaining its soul, atmosphere, and a delightful small-town ambiance that one often dreams of. Renovated homes in Alfama are excellent opportunities, and many of them even boast splendid river views.

If you're arriving from Lisbon's airport, you have several options to reach the apartment:

Metro:
Take the Red Line (Linha Vermelha) and disembark at the "Alameda" station. From there, transfer to the Blue Line (Linha Azul) headed to Santa Apolónia. Afterward, it's a 10-15 minute walk to your destination.
Please be aware that Lisbon is renowned as the city of seven hills, resulting in hilly and uneven streets.

Car:
Please note that car access to the apartment's street is restricted, only Taxis and Residents are allowed.
