This was an extremely disappointing and poorly managed stay. On the first night, we discovered a large number of ants throughout the room, including inside our luggage and personal belongings. This caused significant distress and made the room feel unhygienic and unsafe.
What made the situation even worse was the hotel’s lack of response. After reporting the issue, we were told that the manager was not available, and no clear solution was provided for the entire day. We were left waiting without answers or reassurance.
Only at the time of check-out did the hotel finally offer a solution — a refund of just one night, which was completely unacceptable given the severity of the issue and the psychological impact it caused.
Additionally, on the second night, we were moved to a disabled-access room, not by choice, but because the hotel had no other rooms available. This was not what we booked and further highlighted the hotel’s poor room management.
For a hotel that presents itself as a high-end property, the hygiene standards, crisis handling, and guest care were far below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who values cleanliness, professionalism, and timely problem resolution.
