Chic & Stylist Studio Lakeview

I had a wonderful stay at this Studio. Booked a week, ended up staying a month The apartment itself is clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Bed and pillows, were great, spent half my life looking for those pillows and I still cant find them in the uk. Host was very helpful, apartment was cleaned weekly, and anything I asked for was catered for. Location is away from the Old Quarter, which is what I wanted as this was my third visit to Hanoi, Overlooks a scenic large lake (not West Lake) but one very near it, Lake Ho Quang Ba. Each morning I would stand on the balcony and watch the locals swimming lengths across the Lake, Occasionally I would join a fisherman and we would chat. If you look straight out across the lake, here are a number of cafe's, local restaurant's and small supermarkets. Come out of the alley, turn left and after about 4 minutes walk turn left again down a small side alley. Its perfectly safe. Within 10 minutes you are West Lake side on the other side of the Lake the apartment overlooks. Food time. Google will take you there. Alternatively, come out of the Alley, turn right and keep walking, Don't forget to stop for a coffee at Tapies Coffee, it's hidden behind greenery but its one of those gems you want to find. Thank me later. Keep walking and you hit more Westernised restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, if that is your thing. Another two restaurants close by worth a visit for a Romantic night out. November Restaurant, grab ride to South West Lake. Actually not bad fine dinning, and trust me I've fined dined all across the world. A bit closer and within walking distance is La Bete stakehouse. Didn't think the Vietnamese could cook a decent stake till I went here. Again, really good fine dining and very Romantic. Worth a visit. Everything else in a 10 minute grab ride on the back of a scooter. 10 out of 10 from me for apartment, location and host. Loved it.

Spacious and comfortable, also very quiet.

Remote access without meeting the owner was efficient and worked well but felt a bit impersonal to us, maybe that’s an age thing. Slightly odd location down a long alleyway (fine except when we had to get from a taxi to the property in a thunderstorm! - should have brought a Brolly!)

I want to live here! The studio is stunning - spotless, large, bright with huge windows, and a very impressive view of the lake. I extended my stay by a night, and accidentally locked myself out, and the team were super quick to help with both requests. I actually didn’t think it would be cleaned during my stay so was very impressed to come back from a day exploring and see the room cleaned. Location is picturesque and calm, and just a short grab from Old Quarter (about 15-20min)

The location is good, but difficult to get to as a car cannot go right up to the property, there is a walk along two alleyways before reaching the property which is unmarked.

The access is difficult, the taxi had to take two long turns as it is not easy to find the road, and it is not possible to get to the property by car, although in Google Maps it suggests that this is possible.
