Location was the standout. In the CBD of Wellington and a short walk to explore the sights of Cuba Street and Waterfront.
Host was lovely and welcoming. Great for an overnight stay, as this is someone’s home and other tenants share the same space. Made use of the washing machine, which was a bonus.
Parking was a little confusing. Whilst the host said street parking was free, the blue sign indicated only 2 hrs and then you need a resident pass. Same with private car park; I could park there after 5pm, but signs everywhere saying tow away, private parking. Regardless, I followed the host advice and didn’t get a parking ticket, but was slightly nervous.
