I really enjoyed my stay here! The hostel is cute, clean, intimate, and very reasonably priced, with only two dorm rooms, one with 8 beds and one with 6. I stayed in the 6-bed room, which felt comfortable and not overcrowded. The beds were comfortable and clean, and each bunk has its own privacy curtain. There are also lockers/closets in the rooms where you can safely keep your belongings, and you can take the key with you. The location is honestly perfect — right in the heart of the Medina, so pretty much everything is within walking distance. I also felt very safe as a solo female traveler, which was important to me. The person in charge was very chill, friendly, and welcoming, which made the atmosphere even better. I really liked the little kitchenette as well. I was able to prepare a small breakfast in the morning. It was clean, probably because everyone was respectful and cleaned up after themselves. Another nice touch: they provide free little earplugs, which are useful if you want to sleep better in a shared dorm. The price is super attractive for what you get, especially considering the location, privacy, and overall atmosphere.

Things that could be improved: My main issue was the toilets. They are located in the middle of the riad/hostel and don’t have a window or proper ventilation. Because of that, when they are used frequently, there can be an unpleasant smell even with air freshener. I also felt that the toilets could have been cleaned more thoroughly. They weren’t actually dirty to be honest , but they didn’t feel as clean as I would have liked. As a female traveler, cleanliness in shared bathrooms is particularly important to me. It would also be helpful to keep some basic cleaning products in the toilets so guests can easily clean up when needed!
