Cyherbia Botanical Park & Labyrinth

We originally booked CyHerbia simply as a place to stay for one night while attending a festival nearby and it unexpectedly became one of the highlights of our weekend. From the very beginning, the owners were incredibly thoughtful and welcoming. They contacted us before arrival, explained how to get there and greeted us personally when we arrived. Our host showed us around, made sure we had everything we needed and even switched on air conditioning and prepared cold water for us in the room. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful: freshly prepared dishes from the menu, homemade lemonade and delicious homemade cake, all included in our stay. What made the experience truly special, however, was the hospitality. We spent the next day exploring the botanical park and its maze, picked and ate fresh figs straight from the trees with our host, and, after mentioning that we were interested in the lavender garden, the staff kindly opened it especially for us even though it was closed for the season. We also visited their lovely shop with natural products and were invited to a soap-making workshop arranged just for us. Throughout our stay, the owners genuinely cared about how we were doing and whether there was anything else they could offer us. We even ended our visit chatting with them over another glass of homemade lemonade and cake. Another lovely surprise was how welcoming they were to my small dog, even though the property is not specifically advertised as pet-friendly. We also never felt rushed to leave on our last day and were able to enjoy the park and our room at our own pace. We came here simply looking for somewhere to sleep and left feeling that we had discovered a very special place - made even more special by the wonderful people behind it.

Honestly, nothing. We came with very simple expectations and left completely charmed by the place and its people.

Superbly clean and comfortable. Good quality finishes. Very comfortable bed. Location perfect. Hosts are likeable, accommodating and always at hand. Food - varied choices, served hot, beautifully presented. Staff friendly and helpful. We’ll be back. Such a relaxing weekend.
