Irini's Bayside Loft

Location is great, direct access to the sea, lovely view over the bay, short walk to the beach and town. Having a welcome platter of food, milk, wine and all the basics like dishwasher tabs, coffee and toilet paper supplied was fantastic. The property itself was well appointed and clean, all the equipment we needed.

Nothing really. To be super-picky, none of us had an apple device and we couldn't get the Apple TV working downstairs, so it was standard TV only, but there was a smart TV upstairs that worked fine.

The location was fantastic, right on the water's edge, very quiet, and just a five minute walk away from the centre of Fiskardo. The apartment was beautiful! The views from its balconies were stunning, it was light and airy and spacious inside and all of the appliances were very modern and of high quality. Pedants like me will really appreciate the small details such as all of the light switches being exactly the same and perfectly positioned and with each one incorporating a tiny blue light to show when it is on. Jenny and I were the only ones staying in the apartment but it could easily accomodate up to six people.

Although the appliances were very modern, sadly Jenny and I are not. Some simple and easy to understand instructions for the oven hob and the tv etc would have made life a bit easier for us. It may be that the instructions were somewhere in the apartment but we couldn't find them. Jenny and I were out for most of the time so this wasn't a big problem for us and we didn't even think to ask the owners or the property managers. Also, I was able to excuse myself from most domestic chores on the grounds of technical ignorance so I was fine with the lack of instructions. Jenny less so...
