EXTREMELY friendly staff and so helpful. My driver could not find the entrance, it's a bit tricky but host answered my whatsapp call immediately and met us outside at the curb. When I had to leave my Uber canceled my ride (very common for the area I've learned) and the host called a friend who lives nearby who drives a taxi. He was great and took me to my next destination 2 hours away. That last minute save was amazing.
This is a clean room, hostel style, do not expect any touch of a small/boutiquey charm. It is fantastically located in case you have an event at Quintal da Cantareira which is across the street. That's it. A clean room/bed and bathroom with a very friendly and helpful host who understands and speaks English.
