Modern duplex flat at Barons Court station

The property is located well, walking distance from Barrons court station. The apartment has all the necessary amenities such as proper kitchen and clean bathrooms. The kitchen has the basic things required. Washing machine worked well. We had a few issues , it took quite some time for management teams to respond & act. Without a few hiccups the property was quite comfortable for the family. ( only for the days the issues were resolved)

We visited during Jul 6-14 and power got cut off which made it impossible to stay , forcing us to move out to a hotel for one of the nights in between. Also we could not get in touch with the owner for over 12+ hours. Though we did get partially compensated for the night we stayed at the hotel it was the quote inconvenient day for us to move out and move back in. We had another power cut a few hours before we left. Also despite promising that the apartment was air conditioned. We only found one AC unit ( faulty ) in the living room, bedrooms had no AC. We had to follow up for over 2 days and yet did not get a functional AC in the bedroom. We had to fix the hose ourselves for the AC in the living room. There was only one functional standing fan. Given no heatwave, we would have had no issues with the AC not being there. Dishwasher did not work well.

Not a good start - the apartment had not been prepared at all for incoming guests due to rail disruptions and we were advised of that 30 mins before our arrival. It did however take quite a few calls to host to arrange for alternative cleaners to arrive. Eventually cleaners turned up quite late into our first evening with fresh linen and cleaned the apartment. Unfortunately not the check-in we had anticipated after a long travel day. The apartment does not have ac - it has an ac portable unit that did not work properly as the hose vent was missing. 4 days later in our 7 day heatwave stay this was supplied and the hose was taped to the unit and run through the front lounge window??!! We eventually found fans for the top floor bedroom and 2nd bedroom. The bathroom near 2nd bedroom - shower mixer tap was broken so it was set on scalding hot water. This was reported but not fixed during our stay there. Cutlery and kitchen utensils needed to be washed on arrival - maybe had not been used for quite some time. Sticky.

It was an overall very comfortable and nice stay.

There was an odd stain in the carpeting of the ensuite bedroom.
