My husband and I planned a family vacation with my two daughters and their families--10 of us in all. When we first arrived, the cabin looked clean. However, when I pulled out the nightstand to plug in my phone, there were dozens of dead flies on the floor underneath. The sink and bathtub in the upstairs bathroom were both very slow to drain. There is a hot tub on the deck but only 4 towels in each of the 3 bathrooms. There was an almost empty container of hand soap in the main floor bathroom so when I asked about extra towels, I also asked for hand soap. The host told me they don't supply hand soap and that it was probably left there by another guest, and that they don't supply extra towels but we could wash them. There was no laundry detergent so I contacted her again, and she referred me to the online listing and said they don't supply laundry detergent (but toiletries and laundry detergent ARE listed under amenities). No response when I reminded her of that. In addition, there is a check-out list on the refrigerator that lists things that must be done before checking out or they will charge extra. We were expected to strip the beds (but not the blankets), start the dishwasher, empty the trash, wipe down counters, etc. This is after we paid $275 for the cleaning fee and $111.30 for a "service fee." We definitely would not recommend this cabin and will stick to hotels or Airbnb rentals in the future.
