Swallows Nest - central Cirencester Apartment sleeps 1-4

Lovely, clean and cozy flat. Very central for us and in a great area. Hosts were very kind, attentive and accommodating. Lorraine thoughtfully filled the kitchen with delicious snacks and treats anticipating my arrival, which was a very nice touch! Above and beyond! Her guest guide book is chock full of helpful and well informed suggestions on walks and sites to visit. She also offered great suggestions for restaurants, live music and local happenings too! Everything I needed was there. I will definitely be back.

Great location, loved the croissants on arrival and the lovely shortbread. Loved t he town and surrounds. Hope to come again.

This is a lovely apartment made so by all of the thought that's gone into the decor - there are loads of nice personal touches which make it feel very homely. Our hosts were lovely, we could not have asked for anything more, so friendly and accommodating and happy to answer any questions about a town which they obviously adore - honestly some of the nicest hosts we have ever dealt with. The living room is huge with nice big comfy sofas, and the bedroom is a good size too. The location is fantastic, slap-bang in the centre of Cirencester overlooking a historic street with loads of shops, bakeries etc. The kitchen is a decent size with a little seating area also overlooking the street. Good size fridge and freezer which is often lacking in some accommodation. Plenty of toiletries are provided which is a nice touch, shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. Huge added bonus of home-made shortbread (which was delicious!) and some bread, butter and milk left in the freezer which is nice to get started on your stay before you get to the shops.

A few little snags but these are just little handman jobs which are being dealt with. For us the beds weren't terribly comfy but that's all down to personal taste and we are fussy! Be aware that there is no parking directly at the property - the car park is really really close, so distance is not an issue, but just be aware that you can rack up £10 a day in parking fees so just something to bear in mind. WiFi is a bit patchy and water pressure quite low but honestly not a bother and can't be helped sometimes in old towns and buildings

Fabulous location Very homely and clean Lovely decor Great hosts
