Charming Mtn View Condo Sleeps 6 2 Pools Hot Tub

Condo was very clean and spacious for a family. Having a kitchen to cook in saved us money we didn't have to spend on eating out. Location was great, in town near shopping. Having a pool was nice for the kids. The kids loved the bunk beds in the closet as their own private space, but it was not the best location with lights on and noise from the TV. We got used to reading the word captions for the shows we watched. Parking was close to the condo. Grounds were well kept. Communications and instructions for checking in were clear.

On the first night (around 11:00PM), we pulled out the sofa bed for the other couple with us. The bed frame was broken and not useable, so at 11:30PM we took a trip to WalMart to buy a $50 air mattress. The next morning I texted the condo contact and let them know. Because we were leaving for Dollywood, they sent a maintenance person the next morning. Maintenance guy inspected the bed frame and agreed it was broke. Additionally, the quilt for the sofa bed had a dime-sized blood spot on it. We had a nurse with us, who was the one that was going to sleep on the sofa bed, so she was pretty freaked out about that. I understand that stuff happens so I washed and dried the quilt, but it should have been done prior to us arriving. On the 2nd day we were there, the elevator was not working. Not fun walking up and down 5 flights of stairs. Fortunately they had it fixed by the time we came back from our outing. TV remote would not work sometimes. We had to keep unplugging and resetting the TV. I sent a message to the condo owner/management and asked if we would be compensated in any way. They asked for the air mattress receipt, which I texted to them at least 4 times and they said they didn't get it. Finally they had me send it to another number and said they'd get back to me. I followed up but never heard back. It's now 3 weeks later. Overall, it was an okay condo. Outdated, but clean. The pillows were comfy, but the bed in the master bedroom was not. I would definitely not book this for 6 (4 adults and 2 children). It would be great for 2 adults and 2 children.
