The Mud House Cottage

This place is paradise . The stunning garden is filled with fruit trees, singing birds and tropical Flowers. At night it lights up with fire flies and you can watch them dancing in amongst the leaves from the huge swing. The cottage is elegantly made , decorated and furnished and it had an extremely comfortable bed. The host is so kind and helpful, he fed me delicious food and I even learnt to cook his special chicken. A big highlight of my stay was being able to try out silversmithing in his workshop to make some silver and moonstone jewellery. I ended up staying much longer than intended and explored the surrounding area.

I did not like leaving !

Wunderschön gelegen im Garten einer Mondsteinmiene, umgeben von Palmen, Blumen und Gewürzen. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und erklärt alles, was man über Sri Lanka wissen sollte. Das Frühstück war lecker und der kleine Pool erfrischend. Die zwei schönsten, erholsamen Tage auf meiner Reise!
