Heart of Gozo - Modern Rooms in shared Apartment - Victoria D-Central opposite Duke Shopping Center

Overall, our stay was good, but there were several things that disappointed me. Upon arrival, we received a long list of rules — house rules, kitchen rules, waste-sorting rules, etc. It felt like too much, especially as guests were expected to follow so many restrictions. We get also rules that the boiler and air conditioning could not be used at the same time. There were also strict quiet-hour rules, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. However, it seemed that we were the only guests actually following them. The restaurant downstairs was very noisy, even though it was supposed to close at 10:00 PM, and the noise continued well past midnight. Other guests also did not follow the rules — for example, some were cooking at around 2:00 AM, and the food smells spread throughout the apartment. If I had known beforehand that the rules would be so strict for us while others were not following them, I would not have chosen this accommodation. That was disappointing. So much better to get know them beafore i ficide about to joice the room.
