Le Chemin Guesthouse - 6 sleeper

This house is even better in person. Six of us comfortably shared the house (and it can sleep 8), which is beautifully furnished and decorated and a real feast for the senses - every time you looked somewhere there was another little gem to discover and uncover. The house is magnificent, furbished in a Moroccan theme with a huge and lovely garden. It's a big house with plenty of space, meticulously clean and everything you will ever need is provided and more. We ended up needing early check-in, which was no problem. Leanne, who was our contact was very friendly and very responsive to any request. We had a storm one night, which resulted in a roof leak between the kitchen and dining area and it was sorted very quickly (to do with the solar panels moving). We met Ian the owner, who was so wonderfully charismatic and full of really interesting stories. It's a really quiet location and you're not overlooked by other houses, so it feels quite secluded, although you're in the middle of a residential area, plus it is close to a really nice shopping centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend a stay in this house. Thank you for making our stay so special! We will definitely be back, if the need arises!

The only concern I had was that the downstairs bedroom had no burglar guards fitted and I would not have felt comfortable or safe sleeping in that room with the window open (I was in a different room that did have burglar bars). However, we were assured by the owner that they had not had any safety issues for years.
