Superb views/location and very spacious both inside and outside. Very quiet - not to be underestimated in a coastal village in Italy where a noisy road often spoils your night.
While it's really nice overall, it could be a lot nicer with better furnishing/decoration/arrangement - it's all done for 'here is what you need to be fully functional', but especially the living area looks like 'here are the last (decent quality, but still) pieces from the furniture sale', no wall decoration, lacks anything you would call 'a nice touch'. As to arrangement, few examples:
- It's a very spacious place, but the shower is very small and the shower head is too low for anybody above 1m80.
- There is a super nice large bathtub placed in the middle of a spacious but still very cold bathroom with a small sink and you cannot open the window (unless you want your neighbours sharing the experience), so the wonderful nice bathtub (great intent!) becomes totally uninviting.
- the ceiling fresco in the living creates great atmosphere, yet, the sensation of 'the sofas and the table were just dumped here' take away any charm. Also, lighting is 'full bright on or nothing at all'
All that said, the outside villa structure, the outdoor, the space, all together are so good and pleasant that the above points are absolutely not killing the overall positive vibe, it's just a shame.
Hosting/coordination by Wonderful Italy was at best mediocre, complicated, contradictory, one request-you answer-no reply till next evening 9pm-another request-you answer-no reply till next evening, etc. (before arrival), tedious process for registration,
