Tucked in the woods along the Kalamazoo River, Eveningwood is a secluded bungalow where nature and style meet. Surrounded by towering trees and the sounds of nature, you’ll feel a world away—yet Saugatuck’s beaches, galleries, and dining are just 10-15 minutes away. Inside, cozy spaces feature mid-century modern touches and thoughtful upgrades, creating the perfect blend of comfort and design. Ideal for quiet getaways, creative escapes, or simply unwinding in total privacy.
As you drive up the wooded trail, Eveningwood reveals itself as a serene retreat tucked among the trees. Step inside to an open dining, kitchen, and living area designed for unwinding.
The cozy living room is the heart of the home, with a large TV, record player, and deep, comfortable couches for movie nights or evenings with music and wine.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need and more, whether you’re preparing a full dinner or simply brewing your morning coffee or tea (both provided).
Both bedrooms, each with a queen bed, open onto the deck through sliding glass doors—so does the living room—bringing the outdoors in.
Outside, the deck is perched high on a bluff with seasonal views of the river below, and with a gas grill ready for cookouts. The side yard invites evenings under the stars with a fire pit and hammock—a true place to unwind.
When adventure calls, you'll have quick access to Lake Michigan beaches, art galleries, restaurants, and wineries. You’re perfectly positioned:

The site was fantastic. Probably the cleanest Vrbo rental I have stayed in with so many perks. We are outdoor lovers with a small dog. The site provided much beauty and peace, surrounded by tall trees, falling leaves and a ground carpeted with leaves. Perks included an ice machine, oven, microwave, dishwasher; the toilet had a bidet. There were luxurious towels, comfortable beds and games and great books. The place is incredibly cozy and warm. We appreciate everything the space had to offer for not only my husband and myself but our dog. We enjoyed being close to three townships, but far enough away.
