The house is at ground level and offers two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, a combined living/dining room with open-plan kitchen and a laundry room. Double-glazed windows and folding shutters provide protection from the Mediterranean sun. The living/dining room with its natural stone wall is extremely rustic and inviting. The comfortable armchairs and sofas invite you to relax, perhaps with a good book. On chilly days, you can even use the fireplace to warm up and enjoy the cosy light of the fire. The satellite TV is also conveniently positioned here, so that nothing stands in the way of cosy TV evenings. The massive dining table nearby invites you to relax and eat indoors. The kitchen is just a few steps away, so it's a short walk to set up and clear the table. The kitchen area is loosely enclosed by an elegant, walled counter and is fully equipped. Here you will find a fridge with freezer compartment, hob, oven, sink and dishwasher. The bedrooms welcome guests in a cosy atmosphere and offer the best conditions for a deep and restful sleep. The bathrooms are modern and have towel radiators. You don't need to pack a hairdryer: one is available in the house and you are free to use it.
The highest point of the Serra de Llevant mountain range is 560 metres above sea level. A path leads up to the 450 metre high Muntanya de Calicant: after this climb, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view over Mallorca. On a clear day, you can even see as far as Menorca. The bay of Alcúdia is less than 20 minutes from the villa, while the beaches on the east coast are only a little further away. Every Thursday morning you can experience the weekly market in Sant Llorenc. The extremely quiet and elegantly furnished Villa Cavall de Mar is located on a spacious estate between Artà and Sant Llorenc, on the north-east side of the island. Sant Llorenc is around 8 kilometres away, Artà 9 kilometres and Manacor around 12 kilometres. The car journey to Palma de Mallorca airport takes around 50 minutes.
