We are definitely a dog friendly home! Sorry, but we do have a no cat policy. If you are wanting to bring your 4 legged friend, please let us know ahead of time. We do have a $75 pet fee (PER PET) that is paid before your arrival(the online reservation system is set for $75 for one dog. If you would like to add additional dogs, please message me and I can send you a request for the remainder of the pet fee.)We do ask that you take care of your pet's business that is left in our yard. Please put all little belongings in a bag that is neatly tied and put directly into the outside trash can. Thanks!!
Max of 3 dogs please.
The roads in our neighborhood are maintained throughout the year. At no point can anyone park in the roadway. Our driveway will hold 4-5 cars comfortably. Guests are not allowed to park any portion of their car in the roadway, or they will be towed at the owner's expense.
At 4000' feet above sea level, the weather can get tricky in the colder months. If you are traveling here between November and March, please keep an eye on the weather and plan to have a 4 wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle. Failure to do so could result in getting stuck or not being able to pass certain roads that may be slick. Even just a dusting of snow can make roads impassable without a 4x4 or all-wheel drive vehicle. We can and will do our best to assist you from afar, but we cannot be responsible for stranded guests.
Alternatively, in the summer months it can get warm. We have portable AC units and fans upstairs in each room, if it gets too hot. There is also a whole house fan in the attic. Typically, the temps dip down in the evening, so you can open all the windows and turn fans on to cool the house down.
