Located in Playa del Carmen (PDC), enjoy what this newly remodeled 3-bedroom condo has to offer. The space features 2 king beds and a fun bunk bedroom with 2 bunk beds which could accommodate 4 people or children, perfect for families or groups. Guests can relax in the cool living room, which includes 2 sofa beds that fold out to queen size beds if extra sleeping room might be required. With 3 full bathrooms equipped with showers and hair dryers, everyone has their own space to refresh. Whether you’re lounging indoors or getting ready for the day, this superb condo provides a pleasant retreat. It’s easy to see why you’ll be able to unwind at our place. We call it, affectionately, Casa de Alegria (Home of Joy). Situated in a perfect location, our condo is just one easy block to the famous Mamita's Beach and just 2 blocks from 5th Avenue. If this is your first trip to PDC then you will find you have stumbled upon the fact that there is simply not a better location than Casa de Alegria. We have been travelling to PDC for more than 25 years and the city has dramatically changed. You will find that 5th Avenue is no longer the 10-12 blocks of shops that is was decades ago as it now extends for miles. While shopping you will find fun and hand-made Mexican trinkets and gifts to take home but you will now also find Cartier, Psycho Bunny and Victoria's Secret so anything you might want to find on holiday is easily at your fingertips. PDC has also become a "foodie" town so you will find hundreds of wonderful restaurants scattered in and around all the shopping you will enjoy while strolling up and down 5th Avenue. While not only on 5th Avenue, you will find the majority of restaurants along this avenue. Casa del Alegria has been a life-long dream and with our purchase in 2025, the condo has been completely remodeled and updated to reflect the desired comforts of modern day life. Everything is new, from beds, linens, sheets and towels to a completely new kitchen, dining room, living room, sofas, beds, mattresses, mini-splits through-out and yes, even toilets. Our property manager Sandra is a Canadian and has lived in PDC for more than 16 years. She and her team are top notch and will assure that everything you might and/or anticipate needing will be easily available to you, your family and friends. While we are not yet able to call PDC our home 100% of the time, Sandra is like family to us and she will treat you just as well as she does us. She can arrange transportation 24 hours per day and can even have groceries, coffee or wine available upon your arrival.
