The Swantje vacation home offers you stylish maritime charm in Groß Schwansee on the Mecklenburg Baltic Sea coast, in the enchanting Klützer Winkel region between Travemünde and Boltenhagen. Enjoy peace and quiet, the sea air, and the idyllic coastal setting near the beach (approx. 800).
This detached, modern captain’s house is located in Groß Schwansee in the Bay of Lübeck. The Swantje vacation home was completed in 2018 and offers spacious maritime charm across 130 square meters for up to 6 adults and one toddler, featuring the colors of the sky, the sea, and natural wood tones.
As soon as you step into the spacious entryway—complete with a coat rack, a cozy Frisian bench, a large mirror, and a beautiful solid-wood staircase—you’ll feel right at home in this charming vacation atmosphere. The light-filled living-dining area, which spans 50 m², is particularly spacious and comfortable, featuring an adjoining bar counter and a modern open kitchen. From the sofa arrangement and the two armchairs, you can relax and watch the fire in the fireplace or let your gaze wander to the nearby pond and across the fields. Even from the solid oak dining table with upholstered chairs, you can see boulders in the glacial landscape.
The three spacious bedrooms comfortably accommodate up to six people (and one additional toddler). Two of the bedrooms are furnished with high-quality solid-wood double beds; the third bedroom features two single beds and a desk where you can work undisturbed. One of the two bathrooms is located next to the front door, so you can hop right into the floor-to-ceiling shower after a trip to the beach. The other bathroom on the first floor is equipped with a high-quality solid-wood sauna, so you can warm up no matter the season. From the small gallery in the captain’s gable, you can then relax while enjoying the view all the way to the sea.
The vacation home features a large terrace in a beautiful garden with sweeping views over fields and a nearby pond. Amenities include a seating area, teak deck chairs, a beach chair, a grill, a beach umbrella, and a sandbox. From a garden bench next to the front door, you can admire the sunset over the sea in the summer.
