About this villa rental
Villa Meraki is a newly built (first occupancy in 2025) high-quality and lovingly designed vacation home with cozy and tasteful furnishings, located on the most beautiful sandy beaches of the island of Corfu (southwest).
Smart TV, air conditioning, and ceiling fans in every bedroom (plus air conditioning in the living room/kitchen); one bedroom features an additional kitchenette and bathroom, as well as private access to a veranda and a side entrance. High-speed internet with access points throughout the house and garden; large refrigerator with ice maker, fully automatic coffee machine, microwave, etc. Simple bicycles are available upon request. A simple classical guitar, bongos, and a cajón are ready for use.
The garden features a pavilion with a gas grill and lounge furniture. Private parking for three vehicles right next to the house. The house is equipped with a solar water heating system and an additional electric water heater. To ensure consistent water pressure around the clock, buffer tanks with a total capacity of 3,000 liters and a high-performance pump have been installed.
The nearest beach is about 200 meters from the house. The nearest expansive sandy beaches are just a few minutes away. Supermarkets, taverns, bars, and scooter rentals—everything is nearby, yet Villa Meraki enjoys a relatively quiet location on a side street.
Fantastic taverns right by the sea await you; enjoy the most beautiful sunsets with a glass of retsina. The house is located in the quieter part of the long, narrow beach village.
The area, dotted with olive groves, is perfect for hiking and mountain biking. From the traditional villages in the center of the island (Argirades and Hlomos), you’ll enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of southern Corfu. At Issos and Chalikounas Beach, there are many water sports options (kitesurfing, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, scuba diving, snorkeling, paragliding, jet skiing, motorboats, and much more). You can rent scooters, ATVs, and cars on site. The island is only about 6 km wide in the south, so you have many very different beaches within easy reach.
