Formal Complaint Regarding Staff Conduct – [2213] ​Dear Management, ​I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the behavior of the receptionist on duty during the early morning shift on [11/08/2026]. ​When I approached the front desk to request a room change, the receptionist’s attitude was unprofessional and confrontational. She raised her voice at me, which I found to be completely unnecessary. Furthermore, instead of assisting me with my request, she treated me with suspicion and subjected me to an aggressive interrogation regarding my reasons for wanting to change rooms. ​As a guest, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect. It was fortunate that there were no other guests in the lobby at that time, but the way I was spoken to was unacceptable and made me feel very uncomfortable. ​I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and ensure that staff members are trained to handle guest requests with professionalism and politeness. When entering, the ambiance of the hotel is okay. It's obviously dilapidating and not maintained correctly. The flooring is a mess of cheap plastic that is falling apart with large gaps everywhere. There are missing decorative rocks all over the place. Aside from that, there was no early check-in. Not even a single minute early. That's fine if there are no rooms available or ready, but that wasn't the case. There were plenty of rooms ready and I was made to wait simply on principle of not allowing guests into the rooms early. The woman at the check-in counter is also fairly rude and obsessed with cannabis violations. She had me verbally agree and then sign a document saying that the hotel would charge 5,000 THB for any cannabis smoke in the room. I even had to put a special signature right next to that part of the "check-in" agreement, which is not advertised on Agoda whatsoever. It's odd that there are so many dilapidated and dangerous areas of the hotel, including a nail sticking out of the flooring of my room, which could have easily ripped open the skin on my foot if stepped on incorrectly. The staff are so worried about "cannabis consumption" that they are willing to harass every guest about it, but can't even bother to fix their more prominent liabilities! The transition flooring to the bathroom tiled area was entirely gone and it looked terrible. The beds are hard. The bathroom sink and counter are makeshift and sticking far off of the wall; about a foot gap from the wall with random pipes coming in from the external wall to take away liquid waste. Worst yet, the room's A/C did not work well at all. It is a sort of Central A/C and it barely cooled the room down. It also had a control panel from which the faceplate regularly fell off. The room was never cleaned. Had to make special requests at the front guest. Stayed for 5 days. Not worth it. Plenty of better options in Bangkok.

Im not complaining. Its *** a night, but certainly not a 4 star. 2/3 at max. The pictures are very old and its not like that now. They clearly arent putting any money into the property now. Staff were nice enough. Pool was shocking. Aircon shocking. Showers cold. But again, for *** a night what do you expect? If you want better, pay more and go somewhere nice. It suited a purpose.
