Mökki in Kalkkinen

Since 2022, we’ve been renting out this original Finnish mökki (cottage), which is over 65 years old and measures about 60 square meters. True to the saying “small but nice,” you can unwind here surrounded by nature—amidst the forests and lakes—and simply enjoy the outdoors. The mökki was previously lived in and has been used extensively to this day, so it’s constantly being improved and modified; nevertheless, it’s fully furnished and ready for you to feel right at home.
The sauna cabin is included.

On the upper floor, there is a small bedroom with a double bed (160x200) and a single bed (80x200). The ceiling is a bit low.
The living room has a sofa bed measuring 140 x 200 cm.

The parking spot is right in front of the house.
A grocery store, bar, church, and gas station are 800 meters away.
In the summer, the organic grocery store and café are open.
The beach resort is 1.8 km away, the sandy beach is 9.2 km away, horseback riding is 7 km away, and the golf course is 30 km away.
Jet skiing, motorboating, and snowmobiling are available about 26 km away.

We’ll be on site to hand over the key, or it will be left in a designated spot. At night, the key is kept in a safe. We speak Finnish, German, a little English, and a little Italian.

For those who’d like to experience a bit more, we offer other activities as well. You can rent a rowboat with fishing rods or a stand-up paddleboard from us. We also have other recreational options available. You can play disc golf, badminton, bocce, giant Mikado, or darts. There’s also a sports field with fitness equipment about 200 meters away. In winter, there’s an ice rink, and a cross-country ski trail runs right past the house.
If that’s still not enough, we can organize jet-skiing, motorboating, horseback riding, husky sledding, or snowmobiling.
