About this apartment rental
The vacation rental features an exclusive living and dining area with an integrated, fully equipped kitchenette (oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, egg cooker, toaster, etc.).
The living room leads out to the covered south-facing balcony, which is furnished with patio furniture and a parasol. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a large closet, a sideboard, and an armchair.
Additional amenities include an ironing board, iron, clothes rack, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, etc.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub and a shower enclosure.
Paper towels and toilet paper are provided as standard supplies.
All rooms are accessible via the small hallway in the vacation rental.
If you book a linens package (17.50 per person), the beds will be freshly made upon your arrival.
Our linens package includes the following per person:
• 1 duvet cover
• 1 pillowcase
• 1 bed sheet
• 2 hand towels
• 1 shower towel
You can add the linens package at the end of the booking process or let us know at least 7 days before your arrival. Please bring your own dish towels!
Wi-Fi is available in the property. Smart TV with WAIPU-TV.
In the basement, there is a coin-operated washing machine and a coin-operated dryer (tokens are available from the caretaker, Mr. Mahnke).
A boat dock, available exclusively to vacation guests, is located about a 64-meter walk from the property.
From the dock, you can use a stepladder to enter the lake for swimming.
Rowboats may be available for rent on-site.

The Residenz am See is a small, quiet vacation complex near the little village of Vietgest. Our two vacation apartments, “Seen-Sucht” and “Seezugang,” are located on the edge of Mecklenburg Switzerland, bordering the Mecklenburg Lake District, in the middle of a wooded area right on the natural shore of the Flacher Ziest, which is connected to the Tiefen Ziest by a branch canal.
Our two vacation apartments are located on the first floor of the main house and are situated side by side down a hallway. They are therefore ideal for a vacation with friends or family.
In nearby Lalendorf (4 km), there are various shopping options (Netto, bakery, liquor store, breakfast and lunch at Schenker’s and lunch at the Volksküche [opposite the Netto supermarket], a pharmacy, a doctor’s office, etc.), as well as a VR-Bank with ATMs.
In Vietgest—about 2 km away—there is a restaurant, an ice cream parlor, and Vietgest Castle, which offers a diverse cultural program.
Surrounded by a variety of attractions, the forest and lake landscape—with castles, water mills, biking and hiking trails, picturesque villages, and unspoiled countryside, a highly relaxing environment in every season.
Check-in is available from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and check-out is from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
